Shipping

We offer the following delivery services to help you get your dress when you need it. Please note we use Royal Mail and cannot guarantee the shipping times below.

UK Delivery

  • STANDARD £4.95 - 2/3 DAYS
  • NEXT DAY £7.95 (Place order before midday Monday - Thursday)
  • SATURDAY DELIVERY £12 (Place order before midday Friday)

FREE for orders over £100

International Delivery

  • EUROPE £15
  • REST OF WORLD £25

Returns

In the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase or item is not to your taste, you can simply return to us within 28 days of the date shown on your invoice in the original, saleable condition. We do not refund the cost of original postage and shipping charge occurred to customers.

Please note that when trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume/aftershave or a deodorant that may leave a scent of marks on the item.  We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed.

The item must be returned in its original condition with the relevant documentation within the timescales specified.

How to make a return

If you wish to return an item, you must notify us by email at hello@thedresscellar.com and please ensure to include the following on the email:

  • Put RETURNS in the email subject box
  • Name
  • Address
  • Contact Phone Number
  • Items you are returning
  • Reasons for the return and comments (if any)

Once you have notified us that you wish to return the item/items, you must return the item/items to us. All requests for returns after the 28 day period will be denied.

Returns are your responsibility as we do not offer a pre-paid returns service. We recommend you send back items via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or a similar trackable method.  In the event that we do not receive the returned goods, we will ask you to provide the certificate of posting from the post office as proof of postage.  We reserve the right to refuse a refund if you are unable to provide the certificate of posting.  We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

International Orders - Once shipped if you refuse a package then there will be a charge to return to the UK and we will debit this cost from your refund. YOU are responsible for any Customs Charges and Taxes charged in your country of residence and refusing a parcel because there are Customs Charges are a breach of contract and the return costs are your responsibility.

Non Refundable Items

  • Sale items
  • Any items that have been worn, labels removed, or has any make up, deodorant or perfume marks.
  • All bespoke items are non-refundable.
  • All goods purchased in person (Retails Shows and Events) and at our Showroom are non-refundable unless faulty.


Refunds

If you are eligible for a refund we will do so within 14 working days of receipt of the return. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment.  We do not refund any shipping or postal costs.
